SC grants bail to P Chidambaram in INX Media Case | Panchnama Full

Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to former Finance Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram after 105 days in jail.  The senior Congress leader was probed for his alleged involvement in irregularities in grant of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approval to INX Media during his term as the Finance Minister.

Earlier, a three-judge bench headed by Justice R. Banumathi and comprising Justices A.S. Bopanna and Hrishikesh Roy, issued a notice to ED on Chidambaram's plea challenging the Delhi High Court verdict dismissing his bail plea in the case.
