When President Ram Nath Kovind spoke on Citizenship Amendment Act in Parliament as the Budget session of the house began, Narendra Modi government hinted of absolute confidence in the law.

The hint was clear as the applause by government's parliamentarians was loud and clear. The clapping went on for more than 24 seconds supporting CAA.
