Soon after Narendra Modi announced that he is thinking about unplugging himself from social media on Sunday, reactions over the same took the internet with a storm as thousands of people urging the Prime Minister not to do so.

In a span of just half-an-hour, PM Modi's post was retweeted more than 9,000 times and bagged around 2,800 likes on Twitter.

"This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted," PM tweeted.
