Farmers in Madhya Pradesh are facing crisis as the rain have damaged crops. Thousands of tonnes of wheat kept in the open were drenched due to rains in Madhya Pradesh. Now the situation is that due to poor crop management, wheat is getting spoiled in the mandis and godowns. Wheat was lying in the open at the procurement centers in many districts of Madhya Pradesh even after the rain warning due to the nature storm.
