TS Police Notifications: Police Recruitment Board notifies 677 Constable posts

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board released two notifications for direct recruitment to 677 constable posts in Transport and Prohibition & Excise departments on Thursday.

Of the total notified, 63 posts are in the Transport department and 614 are Prohibition & Excise Constable posts in the Excise department. Applications for these posts will be accepted online from May 2 to 20.

The Police Recruitment Board has already issued notification for direct recruitment to 16,614 posts in the police, special protection force, disaster response and fire services, and prisons and correctional services sectors.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) had also announced a recruitment for 503 Group-I positions. These job postings are part of the State government's announcement of recruitment for 80,039 positions across various ministries.

Earlier, the government of Telangana released a notification announcing the relaxation of the upper age limit for police, fire, prison, SPF, excise, transport, and forest departments has been increased by three years. The notification stated that the age limit relaxation would be valid for two years.
