Telangana Minister Malla Reddy Donates Rs 1.75 Crore To Gold Plate A Part Of Yadadri Temple
Earlier, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao donated 1.16 kg of gold for the plating of the 'vimana gopuram' of the temple
Hyderabad: Telangana Labour Minister Malla Reddy on Thursday donated Rs 1.75 crores to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri for gold plating of temple gopuram. He has donated 3 Kg gold worth of cash.
He handed over Rs 1 crore cash and a cheque of Rs 75 lakh on behalf of the Medchal assembly constituency. On this occasion, the minister said that 1 Kg of gold is being given on behalf of his family while 2 Kgs gold was offered on the behalf of TRS party and his Medchal constituency.

Earlier, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao donated 1.16 kg of gold for the plating of the 'vimana gopuram' of the temple. A week ago the CM has announced that the temple will be inaugurated on March 28, 2022. He further said that the state government would be buying 125 kgs of gold worth Rs 65 Crore from the Reserve Bank of India, which is required to gold plate the temple.
He said that donations were being sought to create a sense of participation. The temple authorities on Thursday have released a QR Code to make it simple for the devotees who are ready to donate can do it through digital payment.
