Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages To Invest Rs 1,000 Cr In Setting Up 2nd Factory In Telangana

New Delhi: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) on Thursday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to invest Rs 1,000 Crore in setting up their second factory in the state at the Bandathimmapur Food Processing Park, Siddipet district.
The MoU was signed from both sides with the aim of capacity building of organisations in the areas of water, solid waste management and skill building. The announcement was made in the presence of IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao and HCCB Chairman & CEO Neeraj Garg.
The conglomerate has successfully finished it's 25 years in India. "Telangana values HCCB’s presence in the state for over two decades. By announcing the establishment of a second factory on its 25th anniversary and through the strategic partnerships that have been signed up, HCCB’s commitment to the state deepens," Minister KTR said at the event held on Thursday.

On this occasion, KTR has also congratulated the company, its employees and partners for reaching the milestone of 25 years. This development would be providing jobs to nearly 10,000 people.

KTR further said that, he has also urged the Beverage giants to consider to set up tech Research & Development unit in the state.
