Telangana Government Disburses Rythu Bandhu Amount To Beneficiaries

The government will provide Rs 7,654.43 crore to farmers in instalments at Rs 5,000 per acre.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government started crediting eligible farmers with a financial support payment of Rs 5,000 per acre under the Rythu Bandhu scheme on Tuesday. About 68.1 lakh eligible farmers representing a total of 1.5 crore acres of farmland in the state will benefit from the programme.

Officials said the amount deposited into the farmers’ accounts who owns land upto one acre. The government will provide Rs 7,654.43 crore to farmers in installments at Rs 5,000 per acre. On Tuesday, 19.98 lakh farmers with less than one acre of land will get Rs 586.65 crore in their accounts.

Compared to last season, more than 3.64 lakh farmers are getting benefits under this scheme.

Procedure to check Rythu Bandhu Beneficiary List 

  1. First click on the official website link 
  2. On the home page, select the desired scheme
  3. It will redirect you to a new webpage
  4. Scroll down to find the beneficiary list of Rythu Bandhu
  5. Click on the cheque distribution schedule report
  6. Select the designated district and the mandal
  7. Beneficiaries from that district and mandal will be displayed on the screen
  8. Download this and take a printout for future references.

Telangana CM KCR launched the scheme on May 10, 2018 at Shalapalli-Indiranagar in Huzurabad constituency, Karimnagar district.
