Telangana: Fire Breaks Out In Dakshin Express Train In Yadadri District

A fire broke out in the luggage compartment coach of the Dakshin Express at the Pagidipally Railway Station in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday morning

Hyderabad: A fire broke out in the luggage compartment coach of the Dakshin Express at the Pagidipally Railway Station in Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday morning (July 03). No casualty was reported due to the fire accident in the train. The train was heading towards Delhi from Secunderabad, which is its source station.

The last compartment of the Dakshin Express caught fire, which was doused by alert railway staff. Later the compartment was detached from the train left for its destination.

Meanwhile in Bihar, a fire broke out in the engine of a train on Sunday. However, all the passengers were reported to be safe. The train was heading to Narkatiaganj from Raxaul, reported news agency ANI. An ANI visual showed the engine in flames and smoke billowing while the journey was halted to the destination.

"AT 5.25 am, SM Bhelwa reported fire. All passengers have de-boarded the train and safe, no injury, no casualties reported, the fire brigade arrived at the site at 6:06 am," news agency ANI said quoting the Railway.
