Telangana: Cyberabad Police Nab Gang Conspiring To Assassinate Minister Srinivas Goud, 8 Held
The CP said that Nagraj, Vishwanath, Yadayya, Amarendra Raju, Raghavendra Raju, Madhusudhan Raju, Munnur Ravi and Thapa were arrested in the case.
Hyderabad: Cyberabad police arrested eight persons in connection with plotting to assassinate Minister Srinivas Goud on Wednesday.
A day after former Mahabubnagar MP complained to the Delhi Police, Cyberabad CP Stephen Ravindra said the four persons were arrested from AP Jitender reddy's residence in Delhi in connection with the conspiracy to assassinate Minister Srinivas Goud.
Cyberabad police have arrested a gang involved in a Rs 15 crore supari deal to assassinate Telangana minister Srinivas Gowda. It was revealed that initially, eight people were detained in the case.BJP leaders Jitender Reddy and DK Aruna's followers are being investigated in the case, said CP Stephen Ravindra.

According to reports, Haider Ali and Farooq escaped when Nagraj, Yadayya and Vishwanath tried to attack Hyder Ali and Farooq with weapons at Pet Basheer Bad PS area on the 25th of last month, complained with the Pate Bashir Bad police the same evening.
The police who registered the case arrested Yadayya, Nagraj and Vishwanath on the 27th of last month and remanded them in custody. While prosecuting the accused, it was learned that Raghavendra Raju, Madhusudan Raju and Amarender Raju of Mahabubnagar, and others had conspired to assassinate Telangana Excise Minister Srinivas Goud.
The CP said that Nagraj, Vishwanath, Yadayya, Amarendra Raju, Raghavendra Raju, Madhusudhan Raju, Munnur Ravi and Thapa were arrested in the case.
Police said they were investigating the culprits and would reveal more details.
Responding to the matter, BJP leader DK Aruna said the police were making false allegations.
