Three bodies have been recovered a day after a massive fire broke out on the ground floor of the Deccan Knitwear Sports Shop in Secunderabad.
A day after three people were killed in a fire accident at Deccan Mall in Secunderabad's Nallagutta, the rescue team recovered their bodies from the damaged building on Friday. The deceased were identified as Junaid, Wasim, and Jahed of Bihar.

On Thursday, a massive fire broke out on the ground floor of the Deccan Knitwear Sports Shop building and quickly spread to the upper floors. Firefighters took 10 hours to douse the flames at the building under the Ramgopalpet police station limits in Secunderabad.
About 10 people who were trapped in the building were initially rescued by fire department personnel and the local police. The fire officials also doused the flames but the fire restarted again and about 30 firefighters were rushed to the spot to continue to help to contain the blaze. Heavy smoke engulfed the entire area and hindered the firefighting operations. The fire officials and police vacated the adjoining buildings as a precautionary measure.
