In her attempt to escape the attack, she can be seen stumbling and falling. However, she somehow managed to rise again and escape from the dogs. During this, she sustained minor injuries and fortunately escaped quickly, thereby avoiding any major incident from occurring.
As per news agency PTI, the woman's husband posted the video on social media on Saturday, and appealed citizens to not feed street dogs within the housing complex, in order to prevent a similar incident from happening.
He also suggested that if they wish to feed a stray it should be done in front of their respective homes to prevent attacks on other residents.
He also expressed relief over his wife escaping the attack by the dogs.
The municipality has a tie-up with Blue Cross, animal welfare organisation, which caught a large number of dogs on Saturday and Sunday for sterilisation and vaccination, adding that the drive would continue, a senior official of Manikonda told PTI on Sunday.
"After the necessary procedures, the dogs would be released back into their original territory," TOI quoted an official from Manikonda Municipality as saying.
