'BRS Is Bharat Rythu Samithi': Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao Cities Govt Help To Farmers
KT Rama Rao said on Friday that Telangana was the only state in the country that was giving Rs 10,000 as investment support to farmers for every acre.
BRS working president and Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said on Friday that Telangana was the only state in the country that was giving Rs 10,000 as investment support to farmers for every acre and also paying compensation of Rs 10,000 per acre to farmers for crops damaged by recent hailstorms and unseasonal rains.
KT Rama Rao also said BRS stands for "Bharat Rythu Samithi".
On Thursday, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao paid a visit to hailstorm-affected regions. He has announced a relief and rehabilitation support of Rs 10,000 per acre to farmers for crops damaged by recent hailstorms and unseasonal rains.
Reacting to CM K Chandrasekhar Rao's announcement, KT Rama Rao took to Twitter and wrote that farmers have full faith in KCR. He also cautioned people that if by mistake they trusted "others", Telangana would go back 100 years.
He also shared a photograph in which Chief Minister KCR is consoling a farmer by keeping his hands on his shoulders.

On Thursday, speaking to the media in Khammam district, CM KCR said that all crops would receive equal financial assistance. He stated that crops on 2.28 lakh acres in the state had suffered damage, with maize crops being hit the highest as 1.29 lakh acres of maize farms have been destroyed.
"The Central Government has never responded positively in earlier instances when farmers faced crop losses. On behalf of the Telangana State government, we would provide Rs 228 crore in rehabilitation and relief assistance to farmers," said KCR.
