The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is offered in two versions: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + cellular. The vanilla variant is priced at Rs. 21,999.

Redmi on Monday launched Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi Pad SE 4G in India. The Pro variant is the first from the house of Xiaomi to have both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. Redmi Pad Pro 5G is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and Redmi Pad SE 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Both tablets will run on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS. The Pro model tablet will come with both - only Wi-Fi as well as Wi-Fi and cellular variants.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is offered in two versions: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + cellular. The Wi-Fi-only model features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs. 21,999. The Wi-Fi + cellular variant starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, with the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model available for Rs. 26,999. The Wi-Fi-only option comes in Graphite Grey and Mist Blue, while the Wi-Fi + cellular version is available in Graphite Grey and Quick Silver.

In contrast, the Redmi Pad SE 4G is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. This tablet is available in Forest Green, Ocean Blue, and Urban Grey.

Both models will be available for purchase starting August 2 at 12 pm through the brand's website, retail stores, and major e-commerce platforms.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Launched: Specifications, Features

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G measures 280.0 x 181.85 x 7.52 mm and weighs 571 grams. It boasts a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, offering up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G features an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging.

For connectivity, the cellular model includes a dual SIM slot where the second slot can be used as a hybrid for a MicroSD card. It supports Wi-Fi 6, 5, and 4 across both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, along with Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C.

Redmi Pad SE 4G Launched: Specifications, Features

The Redmi Pad SE 4G measures 211.58 x 125.48 x 8.8 mm and weighs 370 grams. It features an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

For photography, it includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The device is supported by a 6650mAh battery with 10W wired charging capability. In terms of connectivity, it offers a dual SIM slot along with a separate MicroSD card slot. Additionally, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C.
