Handset maker OnePlus is likely to refresh its flagship number series devices in the coming months. The successor to OnePlus 11R, the OnePlus 12R smartphone would be officially unveiled in the coming months in India, the media has reported. Key details of the OnePlus 12R, including storage and processor have been leaked, according to a report by MySmartPrice. The OnePlus 12R is likely to be launched in global markets, including in India in January 2024.

OnePlus 12R 5G Expected Design, Specifications And Features

The OnePlus 12R may come with a 6.7-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The handset is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the report added. As per famed tipster Onleaks, the purported OnePlus 12R 5G has been leaked in multiple images that show the device in a white colour variant with a slightly curved display, similar to what we have seen Samsung do with its Galaxy S series flagship phones. The renders show a device with slim side bezels and a tad bit thicker chin.

Meanwhile, according to another leakster, Max Jambor, the OnePlus 12 series would launch in January instead of the earlier anticipated date in February. "No worries folks! Global launch will take place in January ✅ and not in February as some people are reporting 😉," Jambor tweeted.

Jambor, while replying to a tweet mentioned that the India launch would also happen at the same time as it would be a global launch.

A recent leak suggested that the OnePlus 12, the successor to the popular OnePlus 11 is likely to be launched in December and the handset would come with a significant upgrade in the camera department. Another leak has surfaced that suggests that the OnePlus 12 would get a  big upgrade in terms of battery capacity, RAM and onboard storage. The previous leak had indicated a periscope camera and a glossy back.
