Nothing Phone 2a New Variant Launched In Red, Yellow And Blue Accents

Apart from the new colour scheme, the design and specifications of the Nothing Phone 2a remain unchanged.

The new colour option for the Nothing Phone 2a, which the company began teasing recently, has now been officially launched. The Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition stands out as the Nothing product with the most diverse colour palette to date, featuring vibrant red, yellow, and blue accents in its design. This new smartphone marks the first time where all three colours have been combined in a single piece of Nothing hardware. The device incorporates red, reminiscent of the Nothing audio products, yellow from the Ear a, and blue from the Phone 2a Blue edition that was released last month.

Apart from the new colour scheme, the design and specifications of the phone remain unchanged.

The Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition is offered exclusively in a configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs 27,999 / 349 GBP / 379 Euros, identical to the pricing of other colour variants. In India, it will be available for purchase starting June 5 through Flipkart.

For international customers, limited quantities will be accessible on the Nothing.tech website beginning May 29. Additionally, the phone will be available in limited stocks at Nothing’s London drop event on June 1st, starting at 11 am, at the Nothing Store Soho, located at 4 Peter St, London W1F 0AD.

"We are very happy to unveil Phone 2a Special Edition. The first product to explore our palette of the primary colours; red, blue and yellow. Its overall aesthetic references some of our design heroes from the past, whilst creating a new expression for a smartphone. Elevating a functional device into a striking piece of art," Adam, Design Director at Nothing, said in a statement.

This comes a day after the London-based consumer tech company announced the appointment of Vishal Bhola as the president for Nothing India. In his new role at the consumer tech firm, Bhola will play a pivotal role in accelerating Nothing's growth trajectory in India, leveraging his expertise in consumer tech and strategic business management, the company added.

Bhola's journey includes over two decades at Unilever, where he held various key positions starting in India and expanding across South East Asia, the USA, Africa, China, and the global headquarters in London. After his tenure at Unilever, Vishal Bhola joined Whirlpool as Managing Director, responsible for driving profitability and growth across the Indian subcontinent for Whirlpool Corporation.
