According to a report by Android Central, London-based consumer technology startup Nothing is said to be developing a new smartphone under its CMF sub-brand. CMF Phone 1 To Be Priced Under Rs 15,000
According to the report, the “CMF Phone 1” is expected to start at Rs 12,000, positioning it as the most budget-friendly smartphone within the Nothing ecosystem. In comparison, the Nothing Phone 2a's price begins at Rs 23,999.

CMF Phone 1 Specifications And Features (Expected)
The CMF Phone 1 will boast a full plastic build and come in Black, White, and Orange colour variants. It is anticipated to feature a 6.5-inch LCD display protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass on top. As for its camera setup, the smartphone is expected to house a single rear camera, although details about the camera sensor are currently unavailable.

Said to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity series chip, the CMF Phone 1 may offer 5G connectivity. Furthermore, it is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and support 33W wired charging.
While the CMF Phone 1 is anticipated to run on the Android 14-based NothingOS, which is typical for Nothing smartphones, there is a possibility that it might receive a simplified version of the OS. The user interface is expected to be minimalist, resembling the standard Nothing OS.
Moreover, the report indicates that Nothing plans to provide three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates for the first CMF smartphone.
