What Caused This Accident?

The precise cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but early reports indicate that the phone’s battery may have overheated, leading to the tragic incident. Authorities are actively looking into the details surrounding the event to determine the exact factors that contributed to the blast, ABP Majha reported. Mobile phone experts have pointed out that such explosions, though uncommon, can occur when there are issues with the battery.

These issues are typically linked to problems such as overcharging, the use of unofficial or incompatible chargers, or exposing the device to high temperatures for prolonged periods. These factors can all potentially cause the battery to malfunction and fail, resulting in dangerous situations like the one that led to this fatal accident.

How To Prevent Overheating Of Your Phone

While there is no black and white rule in such a scenario, there are a few measures that you can take to avoid such a situation. Here are the measures that one can take to avoid overheating of their phones:

  • Don't leave your phones charging overnight
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
  • Do not use damaged or second-hand batteries in your phone
  • Do not trust unathorised shops to repair your phone if something goes wrong. It is always wise to visit authorised stores in such cases as the technicians there have been trained to know what they are doing.
