Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has joined a long list of films targeted by movie piracy sites, which continue to operate even after repeated shutdowns.

Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made an impressive mark at the box office, quickly becoming massive crowd-pullers and generating high praise from audiences. Both films, featuring an ensemble of popular stars, are receiving accolades for their captivating plots and strong performances. However, despite their success in theatres, both movies have unfortunately become victims of online piracy.

Piracy Hits Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

The soaring popularity of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been accompanied by a piracy issue, as both films were illegally leaked on several websites just hours after their initial release.

Reports indicate that copies were available for streaming and even free download on some platforms such as Tamilrockers, Movierulz, 1337x, and various Telegram channels, posing a significant concern for the film industry.

Is Piracy Illegal In India?

Downloading or streaming pirated content in India is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act, which enforces fines and potential jail time. Those caught accessing or distributing pirated films could face up to three years in prison and a financial penalty of up to Rs 2 lakhs. These penalties aim to combat piracy, though the issue remains a persistent challenge.

ABP Live doesn't condone film piracy via torrents or any other illicit methods.

Piracy's Ongoing Impact on the Film Industry

Despite rigorous efforts to shut down piracy sites, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 join the list of films targeted by these platforms. Industry voices are calling for more stringent actions to curb piracy, which continues to be a major financial and creative setback for filmmakers and studios alike.
