Secrets Behind PM Cares Fund To Get Exposed When I.N.D.I.A Bloc Wins Lok Sabha Polls: TN CM Stalin
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin accused the BJP of resorting to blatant vindictive actions, citing the arrest of Delhi. He said PM Cares Fund would be exposed when I.N.D.I.A bloc wins.
New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, during the launch of his Lok Sabha election campaign, asserted that the "secrets" behind the PM Cares Fund would be exposed once the I.N.D.I.A bloc assumes power at the Centre. He accused the BJP of resorting to blatant vindictive actions, citing the arrest of Delhi. Launching his Lok Sabha election campaign here, Stalin, sought votes for the candidates of the DMK and allies.
PTI quoted CM Stalin as saying, "BJP's fear of defeat in polls was the only reason for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest. Is this not a case of blatant vindictive action? The BJP brass is committing mistake after mistake due to the fear of a robust opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A and in the wake of people rallying against the BJP."
PM Modi Has Lost Sleep As His Tenure Is Set To End, TN CM Stalin Says
"PM Modi has lost sleep as the tenure of his regime is set to end and his fear of defeat is reflected well in his eyes and face", Tamil Nadu Chief Minister claimed. Alleging corruption, CM M K Stalin, asserted that a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report had revealed irregularities amounting to approximately Rs seven lakh crore. These irregularities, as per Stalin's claims, were identified in various initiatives, including the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
CM Stalin criticised the Union government for its lack of response to the reported irregularities outlined in the CAG report. He further challenged PM Modi to name one special scheme implemented specifically for Tamil Nadu, emphasising the absence of such initiatives despite PM Modi's frequent visits and rallies in the state.
CM Stalin contrasted this with the achievements of the DMK regime, citing examples such as the Rs 1,000 per month assistance to women, the CM Breakfast Scheme for school children, and fare-free travel for women on state-run buses. These welfare schemes, as depicted in a social media video, were portrayed as tangible evidence of the DMK's commitment to the welfare of the people, as per PTI.
The DMK regime, despite constraints, has implemented so many schemes for the people. He challenged PM Modi to provide answers regarding crucial projects like the Madurai AIIMS and flood relief efforts. PM Modi is 'diverting' by speaking on unnecessary things to hide his 'failures,' the Chief Minister alleged. Hence, the people will neither believe nor forgive the BJP for its dramas ahead of polls. He alleges that the BJP is resorting to intimidation tactics through the Governor to disrupt the functioning of the Tamil Nadu government.
During an event held on Friday afternoon at Raj Bhavan where DMK leader K Ponmudy was sworn in as Minister, the Chief Minister said, "I told the Governor that I am beginning election work today; that I am kickstarting the poll campaign from the Raj Bhavan". CM Stalin mentioned the Governor conveying his best wishes, quoting him as saying "best of luck" in response.
The Chief Minister said his campaign journey, beginning at Raj Bhavan, to its ultimate culmination at Rashtrapati Bhavan, suggesting the INDIA bloc's victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and assumption of power at the Centre.
Without directly mentioning Shobha Karandlaje, a Union Minister, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin accused her of insinuating that the Rameshwaram cafe blast in Bengaluru was orchestrated by the Tamil people. He criticised the BJP for purportedly trying to portray Tamil people as violent and terrorists.
The DMK president reiterated his accusation that Edapapdi K Palniswami-led AIADMK had a secretive alliance with the BJP. Following this, he introduced Durai Vaiko, the candidate for the Tiruchirappalli Lok Sabha segment and the son of MDMK chief Vaiko. Notably, MDMK is an ally of the DMK. In the Perambalur Lok Sabha seat, Stalin announced Arun Nehru as the nominee, who is the son of senior DMK leader and Minister KN Nehru.
Urging the people to support and vote for the candidates of the DMK and its allies, Stalin called for a victory in the April 19 Lok Sabha polls. "Let your vote be for creating a new India. Let the history of victory begin from Tiruchirappalli," he remarked.
