Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu NOT Admitted To Pvt Hospital In Hyderabad, Spokesperson Clears Rumours
Actress Samantha who was in tears said that she had been suffering from myositis, a rare disease.
Chennai: Amid rumours that actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad allegedly due to a deteriorating health condition, her spokesperson cleared the air and said that she's not hospitalized. The spokesperson also said that she is currently taking rest at her home.
During the promotion of her movie Yashoda the actress opened up about her health issue. The actress who was in tears said that she had been suffering from myositis, a rare disease. However, she said that she is gradually recovering from the illness.
Earlier, some of the reports suggested that her health condition deteriorated on Tuesday.
However, her spokesperson denied the rumours.
On October 29, Samantha on her Instagram said, "Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis.”
The Family Man 2 actress said, “I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with.”
Samantha said: “The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery.”

On the work front, Samantha's Kathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Yasodha performed well in box office.
She also has films lined up including Shaakuntalam and Arrangements Of Love.
