UP: 2 Dead, 3 Injured As Car Collides With E-Rickshaw In Noida, Probe On

Uttar Pradesh: Two people were killed and three others were injured after a car collided with an e-rickshaw in Noida on Thursday. The accident occurred at 6 AM near Sector 33, which comes under the jurisdiction of Sector 24 police station.

The car, a BMW, collided with the e-rickshaw, carrying five passengers, who sustained serious injuries due to the collision. Following the accident, the injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, two of them succumbed to their injuries, and passed away during the treatment. 

The bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody for postmortem examination. 

The police have arrested two individuals, including the BMW driver. Another accused managed to flee the scene. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.

In a road rage incident, a family's car was chased by around four men in Greater Noida, the video of which surfaced on social media.

The men were seen hurling stones at the car after they overtook it, despite the victim reversing his car and fleeing the spot.

5 Injured As Car Rams Into House In Noida

In another accident case in Noida in April, five people were injured after a speeding car rammed into the boundary wall of a house, damaging the wall and the railing.

The accident occurred in Noida's Sector 55, during which a rickshaw puller and two women sustained minor injuries.

The person driving the car also sustained injuries and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The police station in-charge Inspector Amit Kumar stated that the car was being driven at a high speed when the accident took place.
