Shilpa's Family Accuses Saurabh Of Murder, He Denies Charge

Shilpa's family in their complaint have accused Saurabh of luring her into false promises of marriage and ill-treating her. They have also accused Saurabh of murdering the woman.

As per the complainant, Shilpa and Saurabh had been in a relationship for the past three years after they met through a dating app. Shilpa's father, OP Gautam also accused Saurabh Meena of physically abusing Shilpa, the report stated.

However, denying the allegations against him, Saurabh claimed that it was just three months ago that they started dating and not three years ago that the Gautam family has been claiming, as per the report.

According to Manish Kumar Mishra, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), the deceased was a human resource officer at BHEL. While talking to TOI, Mishra also revealed that Shilpa divorced her husband five years ago.

Mishra added, "All aspects of the case are being investigated meticulously," reported NDTV. While the post-mortem reports are awaited, CCTV footage from the society is also being analysed by the police. The cops are also looking at the mobile phone history of both Saurabh and Shilpa.
