UP Election 2022: PM Modi To Interact With BJP Workers From Varanasi Today
The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party gave out the information about the programme on its Twitter handle and sought people to share their views and suggestions through the NaMo app.
New Delhi: With the Assembly election for Uttar Pradesh heading close, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in his home turf Varanasi. The interaction with BJP workers will be held through video conferencing today.
The Uttar Pradesh unit of BJP gave out the information about the programme on its Twitter handle and sought people to share their views and suggestions through the NaMo app. Regional President of Kashi region Mahesh Chandra Srivastava said that the PM Modi will address the party workers at 11 am through the NaMo app.
This will be Prime Minister’s first political activity after the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced dates for the Assembly election for the five states — Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur, and Goa.
Co-media in-charge Dharmendra Singh said that since becoming the MP, the PM has visited his constituency Varanasi 31 times.

The Prime Minister will primarily interact with all the booth presidents and discuss election strategies with them. The names of booth presidents have already been sent to the state high command. In the programme, MLAs, regional officers, circle presidents, district in-charges will also be involved.
The Election Commission of India has announced dates for the Assembly elections for Uttar Pradesh. The election will be held in seven phases with the first phase starting on February 10, the second phase on February 14, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 22, the fifth phase on February 27, the sixth phase on March 3, and the last and final seventh phase on March 7.
Counting of the votes will take place on March 10.
