Akhilesh Yadav Accepts Congress Invite For Nyay Yatra In UP, Says Will Join In Amethi Or Raebareli
SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav accepted the invitation and gave his consent to join Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' in Amethi or Rae Bareli.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav accepted the invitation to join Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's "Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra" in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge extended an invite to the former UP chief minister as the march is set to reach the state on February 16 at National Inter College in Chandauli's Saiyadraja, as reported by the ANI.

Samajwadi Party informed that Akhilesh Yadav accepted the invitation and confirmed that he will join the 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' in Amethi or Rae Bareli when it enters Uttar Pradesh on February 16.

This comes after Yadav's comments claiming that his party was not invited to Rahul Gandhi's "Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra".
According to the news agency ANI, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said on February 4 said, "Many big events are organised, but we are not invited." Responding to Akhilesh Yadav's remarks on the Bloc, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh confirmed that the party is open to welcoming alliance members but the final program is not yet decided.

The 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' had earlier on Sunday passed through the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. On Tuesday, this yatra reached Odisha, entering through the industrial town of Biramitrapur in the Sundergarh district from Jharkhand. On Wednesday, Gandhi will resume the yatra, embarking on a 3.4-km-long padayatra from Uditnagar to Panposh Chhak in Rourkela city.
On January 14, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra departed from Thoubal, Manipur. Over the course of 67 days, the yatra will travel over 6,700 kilometers and pass through 110 districts. It will traverse 100 Lok Sabha seats, 337 assembly segments, and 110 districts over a distance of 6,713 km before the upcoming Lok Sabha election in 2024.
