Uttar Pradesh: Amidst the rising cases of heart diseases-related deaths, another shocking case from Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba has come to light where a 30-year-old man died in a bank. The deceased, identified as Rajesh Kumar Shinde, was the agri general manager at a branch of HDFC bank in Mahoba.

The young man was working on his laptop when he suddenly collapsed on his chair after suffering a heart attack, NDTV reported. The incident was caught on the bank's CCTV on June 19.

As he collapsed his colleagues, who were sitting next to him, shifted Shinde from his desk to an open area, and alerted others.

They even sprinkled water on his face and tried to give him a CPR, hoping to make him feel better, unaware that he had suffered a heart attack, the report added.

When he did not respond and the colleagues saw his condition worsening, they rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, it was too late by then as he had already passed away.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or CPR is an emergency life-saving procedure that involves mouth-to-mouth ventilation efforts and chest compressions, to restore blood circulation and breathing in a person who might have suffered a cardiac arrest.

Previosuly, heart-related issues were associated with ageing, but a surge in heart attack-related deaths among people aged under 40, has lately become a matter of concern in the country.

Doctors have attributed this alarming uptick in heart diseases to poor dietary choices, a sedentary lifestyle, and stress, among several other causes.

In another similar incident in February this year, a 25-year-old man died while on his visit to the Delhi Zoo with his wife. He suffered heart attack in the zoo and collapsed in zoo.

Shocked by her husband's death, the wife also committed suicide after jumping from the seventh floor of her home in Ghaziabad. The couple had gotten married a few days before the incident.
