Autopsy To Ascertain If Chid Was Deliberately Killed: Police

According to NDTV, Inspector Ranbir Singh of Faridabad Police stated, "The autopsy will ascertain whether the child was deliberately killed before being discarded or if the tragic death occurred as a consequence of being pierced by the grille."

Efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrators are underway, with police officials combing through CCTV footage from the vicinity.

Residents of Ajronda voiced their outrage, with some attributing blame to the parents. "Parents are guilty," asserted the shocked villagers, with demands for severe punishment for those responsible for the heinous act, including calls for the death penalty.

Further investigation into the matter is ongoing, as confirmed by the police, the report stated.

In a recent incident in Maharashtra's Thane district, a 3-year-old girl died on Feb 29 after falling into a pit dug for constructing a highway. The child identified as Rahmunissa Riyaz Shaikh fell into a water-filled pit in the Titwala section of the under-construction Vadodara-JNPT highway, news agency PTI reported a police official as informing.

"She was playing nearby. Her body was found after some time by kin who had mounted a search when she was not seen around," he said.
