'BJP Adds Fuel To Fire': CM Gehlot Hits Out At Tejasvi Surya For Provoking Situation In Karauli

BJP's Nyay Yatra to meet the riot victims was stopped before reaching Karauli. After this, there was a lot of ruckus on the Dausa-Karauli border.

New Delhi: Amid the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has come out on the streets to surround the Ashok Gehlot government of the state regarding the Karauli riots, Rajasthan Chief Minister Gehlot has launched an attack on BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Thursday saying, "These people came to further provoke the situation".

"The name is Tejasvi Surya but look for what they came here...Incident in Karauli is unfortunate, I already said that these people came to further provoke the situation...we were worried that Karauli-like incidents shouldn't happen in other places," said CM Gehlot, as reported by news agency ANI.

BJP's Nyay Yatra to meet the riot victims was stopped before reaching Karauli. After this, there was a lot of ruckus on the Dausa-Karauli border.

"In other states where riots broke out, houses were demolished by govts. Neither PM nor CM has a right as such where without any investigation such an action can be taken. Only the law has prerogative to do so & it should take its own course," added Gehlot.

BJP has been continuously accusing the administration of lax attitude and unilateral action in the nuisance case after a motorcycle rally was taken out from the area, mischievous elements pelted stones and then some shops were also set on fire on the occasion of Nav Samvatsar.
