Bihar Man Swallows Keys, Nail Cutters, Knife After Family Denies Permission To Play Online Game
When his family refused to let him play the online multiplayer game Battlegrounds Mobile India, the man ingested a key, a set of keys, two nail cutters, and a knife.
A man in Bihar narrowly survived after he swallowed a bunch of keys, two nail cutters, and a knife when his family denied permission to play an online mobile game in an argument.
According to a report in India Today, when the family did not allow him to play the multiplayer game- Battlegrounds Mobile India, the man, a resident of Motihari in Bihar, swallowed a key, a bunch of keys, two nail cutters, and a knife.
Following the move by swallowing these items, he remained fine for some time. After a few hours, the condition of the man began to deteriorate, prompting his family to rush him to a private hospital in Motihari city of East-Champaran district.

The items that were swallowed were discovered on his stomach in the X-ray. A doctor working at the private hospital, Dr Amit Kumar, told India Today TV that they had an operation on the man for one and a half hours, during which they recovered all the items he had swallowed.
"He had swallowed a bunch of keys, a single key, two nail cutters, and a knife after he was not allowed to play video games following an argument. He swallowed all these items in anger. He is now stable and out of danger," Dr Kumar said.
Following his operation, the man is currently stable and safe without any further danger.
Delhi Man Swallows 39 Coins, 37 Magnets
A similar incident of swallowing came to light on February 27 in Delhi where a 26-year-old man swallowed 39 coins and 37 magnets believing that Zinc helps in bodybuilding.
According to ANI, the incident was reported when the patient went to the emergency ward of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital with complaints of repeated vomiting and abdominal pain for more than 20 days. The man was also unable to eat anything.
