After Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon's electrifying moves 'dazzled' the crowd in Mumbai, Punjabi rapper AP Dhillon produced an incredible singing performance to vow the fans.

WPL Opening Ceremony: The inaugural season of Women's Premier League (WPL 2023) is all set to be played between Harmanpreet Kaur's Mumbai Indians (MI) and Beth Mooney's Gujarat Giants (GG) on Saturday, March 4. Ahead of the high-octane GG vs MI WPL 2023 match, fans at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium were treated to some Bollywood style star-studded entertainment.

WPL 2023 grand opening ceremony started with a mesmerizing performance from Bollywood actress Kiara Advani. Kriti Sanon and Punjabi rapper and singer AP Dhillon were the next to perform after Kiara.

Ahead of WPL 2023 opening ceremony, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah released the official anthem of WPL 2023 via his official Twitter handle. Six prominent singers including megastar Shankar Mahadevan, Harshdeep Kaur and Neeti Mohan have contributed to the energetic anthem to make it a super hit.

After the opening ceremony got over, captains of all the 5 WPL 2023 teams -- Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz -- took the centre stage alongside BCCI secretary Roger Binny, Jay Shah and IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal at around 7:10 pm to unveil the official trophy of historic Women's Premier League 2023.

Coming to the MI vs GG match, Gujarat Giants won the toss and opted to bowl first.
