Virender Sehwag's funny way of wishing Harbhajan Singh on becoming father

New Delhi: Senior off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who tied the knot with Bollywood actress Geeta Basra last year, has became the proud father of a baby girl on Wednesday. Many people, including his Team India friends, wished him on the occasion but the best one (read witty) came from Virender Sehwag. In another example of his great sense of humour, Sehwag said Bhajji was a ‘baap’ on the field and now he is a father off the field too.

  Translation of Sehwag's tweet: “Congrats @harbhajan_singh & @Geeta_Basra on becoming proud parents. Bhajji, you were a father (Baap) on the field already, now you have become a father (Papa) in your life too.” Bhajji’s wife Geeta delivered the baby girl at a London Hospital, and both mother and daughter are said to be in a healthy physical condition. Harbhajan is the latest India cricketer to become father to a baby girl, after Mohammed Shami, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni. Virat Kohli, who is preparing for the second Test against West Indies, was so happy after the news that it took him two tweets to congratulate the couple. And he did it in Punjabi.
