'My Main Aim Is To...': Virat Kohli Says He's Ready To Do Anything For Team India
Virat Kohli might make his comeback for team India in the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe or fans might see the veteran returning to the Indian side in the Asia Cup 2022.
New Delhi: Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is currently holidaying with his family in Paris. The right-handed batsman has not been able to score a century in professional cricket in the last three years. The star player opted to skip India vs West Indies white-ball series to get a break after he struggled to score runs on the England tour. Virat has said that he wants to win the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup for India.
Virat Kohli will be an important player for India in the Asia Cup starting next month, the T20 World Cup to be held in October-November, and next year's 50-over World Cup, as India does not have a more experienced batsman than him at the moment.
"My main aim is to help India win the Asia Cup and the World Cup, and for that I am ready to do anything for the team," Kohli said in a statement released by Star Sports.

Kohli has dropped out of the top three batsmen in the ODI format in the ICC rankings after a long time and is no longer in the top 3 in the rankings in any format.
