IND vs SL, 3rd T20I HIGHLIGHTS: India Beat Sri Lanka By 78 Runs To Seal Series 2-0 At Pune

Background

Pune: After registering a comfortable win in the second T20I in Indore, Virat Kohli-led team India will eye to wrap up the 3-match series when they play against Sri Lanka in the final T20I at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Friday. On the other hand, Sri Lanka will look to improve their performance on all fronts as they aim to level the series 1-1 with the first game at Guwahati being abandoned due to damp pitch.

Toss Update: Lasith Malinga won his first toss of 2020 and invited India to bat first in Pune. Sanju Samson comes in place of Rishabh Pant. Chahal replaces Kuldeep Yadav and Manish Pandey gets a game in place of Shivam Dube.

Virat Kohli: We wanted to bat first as we wanted to do something different today. Toss was almost irrelevant as we knew they wanted to bowl first. Trend is going towards team batting second. You can't go into the match thinking you can only do well when you chase. We want to embrace difficult things also.

Lasith Malinga: We will bowl first. There might be dew in the second innings. Our top-four batsmen need to get big runs. We have discussed that. We have two changes. Angelo and Sandakan come in.

Squads:

Sri Lanka (Playing XI): Danushka Gunathilaka, Avishka Fernando, Kusal Perera(w), Oshada Fernando, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya de Silva, Dasun Shanaka, Lakshan Sandakan, Wanindu Hasaranga, Lasith Malinga(c), Lahiru Kumara

India (Playing XI): Lokesh Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli(c), Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson(w), Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal
