Team India Opener Shikhar Dhawan And Wife Aesha Mukerji End 8-Year Marriage
Shikhar Dhawan, who was last seen leading India against Sri Lanka in the limited-overs series, has been spearheading his national team's batting line-up for almost 10 years now.
New Delhi: Just a few days ahead of IPL 2021 Phase 2, Indian cricket team's senior opener Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Aesha Mukherjee have parted ways after eight years of marriage. The couple together have a son. Sources in the know of developments confirmed the news to ANI and even Ayesha confirmed the news by sharing a post on Instagram. In the year 2014, Aesha had given birth to their son named Zoravar Dhawan. In many interviews, Dhawan has talked many times about how he changed as a person and a cricketer after marrying Aesha.
In her post, Aesha expressed how she feels after getting divorced for the second time. Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha got engaged in the year 2009 and three years after that the couple got married. Aesha had earlier divorced her first husband, with whom she has two daughters.
Dhawan and Aesha have not issued any official confirmation or statement regarding their seperation. Earlier there were reports that Shikhar and Aesha unfollowed each other on Instagram. Not only this, Aesha has also deleted all pictures of Shikhar from her feed.

With Rohit Sharma a definite pick, there will be tough fight between KL Rahul and Dhawan for 2nd opening slot.
The Indian opener will be soon seen playing for Delhi Capitals in the second phase of IPL 2021 in UAE this month. Dhawan has so far played 34 Tests, 145 ODIs and 68 T20Is in his career.
