Iga Swiatek will now face the world number 2 Coco Gauff, which will mark the third meeting between the players at the French Open and it will be a blockbuster fixture, as both the players are in inspired form and whosoever wins the contest, fans can expect the winner to go all the way and win it all at this year's Roland Garros.

Iga Swiatek made light work of her opponent as she won the first set 6-0, and in the process, registered her 3rd consecutive perfect set of Roland Garros 2024, as she won her provious match without dropping a single game, and losing merely 10 points throughtout the game (6-0, 6-0).

Marketa Vondrousova was seemingly struggling with a shoulder issue and Iga Swiatek capitalised by exposing her weakness of backhand drops and returns and in the process, registering a quick win.

"In the zone. Everything worked well, I served better than in the previous rounds and that gave me even more confidence to play my game. I'm going to approach this match like any other and try not to think about what's at stake. Coco loves playing on dirt, especially here, but I'm just going to try to focus on myself and my game."
