Adelaide: Ahead of the 2nd Test between Australia and Pakistan in Adelaide, a fan walked up to former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting and asked him to click his picture with Aussie sports presenter Melanie McLaughlin. In a hilarious turns of events, Ponting received as absolute surprise from the fan as usually it is the Aussie great whom fans across the world want to have a picture. Channel Seven's official account posted the pictures of Ponting clicking a photo of Melanie with the fan on Twitter. McLaughlin then re-tweeted the post with a cheeky caption: "This version of events is… mostly... accurate…" Ponting, along with Melanie, is part of the commentary team of Channel Seven for the ongoing two-Test series between Australia and Pakistan. Earlier on Sunday, Aussies bagged a big win at the Gabba to keep alive their unbeaten record at the Gabba since 1988. The Australian bowling attack bowled remarkably well to defeat Pakistan by an innings and five runs in the first Test of the two-match Test series to attain a 1-0 lead. In the ongoing second Test, Australia, who have been unbeaten so far in the five pink-ball Tests, reached 70/1 with Burns out for 4-runs just when the umpires called for an early Tea as rain interrupted the day’s play.
