‘Powder Gully, Gokuldham Society’: Chetan Sakariya’s Tweet Leaves TMKOC Fans Amused

New Delhi: Just a month is left for the start of IPL 2021 Phase 2. The new addition in team India's lethal pace bowling attack, star speedster Chetan Sakariya, impressed everyone with his remarkable bowling performance in the first phase of IPL 14.
Sakariya, who plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL), left Twitterati in splits with his latest social media activity and also showed how much of a big fan he is of popular TV sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma (TMKOC).
The official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals posted a photo of Sakariya in which he can be seen eating famous Indian Gujarati snacks 'Jalebi and Fafda'. In the caption of the photo, Rajasthan Royals wrote, “Address dedo, @Sakariya55? (Give address Chetan Sakariya).”
Responding to Rajasthan Royals' tweet, the young fast bowler came up with a hilarious response as he posted a photo of Gokul Dham Society from TV show TMKOC and wrote, “Powder Gully, Gokuldham Society."
Chetan Sakariya was born in Vartej, Gujarat and has a love for Gujarati cuisine. The young talented speedster was bought by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 auction. Due to his good performance in IPL 2021, Sakariya recently got a chance to make his international debut in ODIs and T20s for Team India in Sri Lanka tour.
Before the postponement of IPL 2021, Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals had won three out of seven matches and were at number 5 in the IPL 14 points table. Rajasthan will start their second leg in IPL 2021 against Punjab Kings on September 21.
