Manu Bhakerput up a stunning show in Paris Olympics 2024. While there are handful of Olympic medal-winning athletes in India, Bhaker won two bronzes in a single edition of the Olympics script history, with the second of her medals coming in the mixted team 10 m shooting event along with Sarabjo Singh. Ever since her heroics in the French capital, she has been receiving lot of limelight with several felicitation ceremonies being planned for her across the country.


The 22-year-old received a grand welcome in her hometown of Jhajjar. The district's administrative officers also reached to welcome the Double Olympic medallist. However, Manu was thrown a marriage question by a journalist at this event. The shooting star, who was being linked up with Neeraj Chopra on the basis of social media videos in which they can be seen talking to each other, handled the question with remarkable grace.

Want To Focus On My Shooting Career: Manu Bhaker


While she smiled at the question, she then said that she hasn't given it a thought yet. Manu Bhaker said that she only wants to focus on her sport as of now. She stated that her aim is to win Gold medals for her country and she will be practicing keeping that goal in mind. 


When Manu was asked which sportsperson she would 'love' to spend a day with, she said that she would to spend a day with Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.

"Maybe I'll name a few of my favourites. Usain Bolt (Jamaican runner) is one of them-I've read his book so many times and I've known his journey as well as I've watched so many of his interviews too. And then, in India, cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni sir (MS Dhoni), and Virat Kohli. It would be an honour to spend even an hour with any of them!," Manu told Cosmopolitan.
