Novak Djokovic Dances To Bollywood Song At World Tennis League In Dubai- WATCH

Novak Djokovic made his debut at the World Tennis League on Tuesday but failed to make a winning start, losing 6-3, 6-4 to Alexander Zverev.

On the tennis court, Novak Djokovic is a fierce competitor. No match is won by the opposition until the last game required to win that fixture is sealed as the Serbian has the uncanny knack of staging the most remarkable comebacks. However, that's not all. He has a bit of entertainer side to him which was on display at the World Tennis League in Dubai.

In a video which is now doing the rounds on the internet, the 21-time Grand Slam winner Djokovic was seen grooving to the Bollywood Song "Nadiyon Paar" from the Janhvi Kapoor-starrer movie Roohi. The 35-year-old was not alone as he was accompanied by Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka before the start of a match when they broke into bit of a dance.


Notably, Djokovic made his debut at the World Tennis League on Tuesday but failed to make a winning start. In fact, he lost 6-3, 6-4 to Alexander Zverev.

Looking forward to World Tennis League: Djokovic 

Prior to the start of the competition, Djokovic had expressed his excitement about the prospect of featuring in the tournament. 

"I’m very excited to anticipate what is going to be these next five days for us in the tournament, with music and entertainment and sports and tennis. I’m looking forward to it," he had told in an interview to Dubai Sports Channel.

Other than Djokovic's dance which has grabbed eyeballs of the world, the inaugural edition of the World Tennis League has had a great start. On Day 1 of the tournament, Bianca Andreescu and Nick Kyrgios defeated Eugenie Bouchard and Holger Rune. 

Post the win Andreescu said how she enjoyed her chemistry with Kyrgios.

"I thought the chemistry was great right from the start," she said.

"We’re both pretty outgoing people so I thought that we’re going to bring great energy and we played very well. I think we both have great hands. I think he’s rubbing off on me a little bit on the serve and on the volleys, so hopefully we can keep it going," she added.
