MrBeast, Logan Paul And KSI's 'Lunchly' Criticised After YouTuber Discovers Mold In Meal Box
Neither of MrBeast, Logan Paul And KSI have issued any statement on the matter as yet.
MrBeast, Logan Paul and KSI's 'Lunchly', a lunch kit being marketed and promoted as a healthier alternative to Lunchables, has attracted some criticism in a recent controversy. Notably, there have been incidents of molds found in several of these meal packs. It is pertinent to note that the WWE Superstar Paul along with the other two YouTube celebrities combined their existing brands including Prime Hydration and Feastables chocolate to come up with Lunchly.
However, ever since its release, there have been several concerns raised about it by those consuming the snack brand. Renowned YouTuber Rosanna Pansino was one of the big names to have brought the issue to limelight in a video she posted on October 16. Even though the expiration date of the meal box was apparently two months away, Pansino discovered mold in the cheese and shared a video of the same.
"This is disgusting. The expiration date was still 2 months away," she could be heard explaining in the video.
"I was shooting a video comparing Lunchly to Lunchables and I opened the first package, which was meant to be good till December 8th, 2024, and we just got this one, it was fresh from the store this morning and there is a ton of mold in there," she added.
"I honestly wasn’t expecting that, I was thinking that, you know, they would taste pretty similar, just, you know, would not have the best, or better for you, ingredients. And I was going to go over nutritional facts and things but this is really concerning so I am just pausing from filming this to take a little break to show this," she goes on to say in the video.
Logan Paul, MrBeast, KSI Yet To Address The Issue
Amid growing public pressure, it remains to be seen whether there will be any comment by Logan Paul or MrBeast and KSI regarding the issue or some significant step to ensure higher quality standards for their products. So far, the three business partners have not addressed the issue at all.
