New Delhi: Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to confirm Ajax Manager Erik ten Hag will join Manchester United as their new permanent manager in the coming days. The contract between Hag and the Red Devils may last for three years, till the year 2026 plus the option of an extended commitment of another year.

"Ajax & Man United in contact to discuss €2m clause - announcement timing depends on this [not today/tomorrow]," Fabrizio Romano tweeted.
Several media reports suggest that the official confirmation about the development may only come on Tuesday evening after Manchester United's match against Liverpool.
If and once Erik ten Hag joins Manchester United, he will become the fifth manager to join the club in less than a decade since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement is expected to be confirmed.
