LeBron James, Lakers star and his eldest son Bronny scripted history at the NBA as they became the first father-son duo to plan in an NBA match togethe during the Los Angeles Lakers‘ season opener against Minnesota Timberwolves.
The unprecedented achievement is a testimony to James Senior's longevity in the sport at the top of his game while also celebrating James' Junior's resilience.
It all happened during Lakers' season opener against Minnesota. There were four minutes remaining in the second quarter on Tuesday when father and son checked into the game together to script history. The Lakers at that time were leading 51-35.
