Karthik, Kohli take India to 190/6 against WIndies

New Delhi: Wicket-keeper batsman DInesh Karthik and skipper Virat Kohli guided India to 190/6 in one-off T20I against West Indies at Sabina Park on Sunday.
Having put in to bat first, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan gave India a flying start, the duo stitched 64 runs for the first wicket. Indian skipper quickfired 39 runs of just 22 deliveries, while Dhawan manged 23 off 12 balls, before getting involved in mix-up.
However, it was Dinesh Karthik who cashed in on solid start. The 32-year-old smashed 48 runs in just 28 deliveries and remained the top scorer for the visitors.
Youngster Rishabh Pant added 38 runs in 35 balls. Jerome Taylor got 2 for 31, dismissing Dhoni and Pant on successive deliveries.
