Virat Kohli's Animated Discussion With Gautam Gambhir Ahead Of KKR vs RCB IPL 2024 Fixture Goes Viral- WATCH

RCB player Virat Kohli and KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir were seen involved in an intense chat during a training session of both the teams ahead of their IPL 2024 faceoff in Kolkata.

Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir are two extremely fierce competitors on the cricket field. While Gambhir may have retired from all forms of international cricket as well as the Indian Premier League (IPL), he continues to be passionate for the sport and is part of IPL 2024 as the mentor of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), a team he has previously led to two championships in the past. On the other hand, Kohli, who was a youngster when Gambhir was at the peak of his powers as an international batter, has grown into becoming a modern-day great.

Both Kohli and Gambhir are known to wear their heart on their sleeves. In the past, the two of them have been involved in a couple of altercations as well, both, however, were in the spur of the moment. Before the KKR vs RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) fixture at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the two of them were caught in the middle of an intense discussion. The video of Gambhir and Kohli's chat has gone viral on social media.

The clip is from a training session of the two teams, a day prior to their faceoff and was shared by KKR on their official social media handle.

RCB In Middle Of Five-Match Losing Streak

As far as RCB are concerned, they are in the middle of a five-match losing streak as they enter this contest against KKR in IPL 2024. They have played 7 matches but have only tasted a solitary win. As a result they find themselves at the rock bottom of the IPL 2024 points table. By contrast, KKR have being the consistent performers this season and have 4 wins from 6 matches which has taken them to the third place on the table.
