WATCH: Virat Kohli Takes 'Blindfold Challenge', Gets Surprised By Sunil Chhetri

Both Virat Kohli and Sunil Chhetri shared a laugh after the incident.

Virat Kohli is easily one of the most recognisable faces in modern day cricket. The India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star wears his emotions on his sleeves and his passion for the sport is apparent every time he is on it and giving it his more than 100 per cent to help his side win the game. Off the field too, Kohli has different dimensions to his personality with some of the videos online showcasing his dancing skills.

And now in a hilarious video, the former India captain can be seen taking a blindfold challenge. While he had a good time recognising his RCB teammates, initially mistaking Dinesh Karthik for Mohammed Siraj before recognising him by his beard and then recognsing Siraj by his wristwatch, he was quick to call out the name of his skipper Faf du Plessis with the aid of his tattoos and a watch on his right hand.

However, he took his time to recognise Sunil Chhetri. He first described him as a boy with short height and hard hairs. Failing to recognise the Indian football legend, Kohli was given a hint that the person was a "quick all-rounder."

Eventually, the 34-year-old recognised his friend Chhetri and burst into laughter.

As far as RCB's journey in IPL 2023 is concerned, the team has played 6 matches and won 3 while facing a loss in their other three games. Kohli personally has had a good season with the bat with 279 runs from 6 innings at an average of 55.80 and a strike rate of 142.34. Kohli has already scored four half-centuries this season and would look to continue his good form going forward in this competition and try and help the franchise clinch their elusive IPL title.

Along with skipper Du Plessis, the current orange cap holder in IPL 2023, Kohli has formed a formidable opening partnership but an inexperienced middle order and their bowling at times have cost them matches which they would want to rectify going forward in the tournament.
