The Bangalore-based franchise are yet to win a final match of the tournament. Their chances of winning the tournament are quite high as Virat Kohli has been in superb form recently. In India vs Australia Test series, Virat ended his century drought in Tests by scoring a remarkable ton in Ahmedabad Test and a hard-fought fifty in IND vs AUS final ODI. Fans would expect the highest run-getter in IPL history to have a similar outing for RCB in the T20 tournament as well. Virat will return to action very soon. Bangalore will begin their IPL 2023 campaign by taking on the Mumbai Indians at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 2.
Recently, in a chat with RCB, Virat explained how he rediscovered his old form.
“I think I’m back to playing the way I do, but there’s a lot of room to get to my best, which hopefully happens during the IPL” - Virat Kohli talks about returning to Bengaluru and Chinnaswamy, on Bold Diaries.#PlayBold #ನಮ್ಮRCB #IPL2023 @imVkohli pic.twitter.com/IJvTf8W1jt

"It was just about rediscovering the love for the game. That could happen when I stepped away from what was happening on the field for so long. I was trying to find ways when I was exhausted. I needed to connect myself as a human first, not judge myself constantly or keep myself under scrutiny all the time. Staying away from the game helped me. That helped me rediscover my excitement and love for the game. When I came back, everything was an opportunity, nothing was pressure," Kohli said in a video shared by RCB.
