Amidst the dark cloud looming large over the fate of the ICC T20 World Cup and Indian Premier League, India white-ball deputy skipper Rohit Sharma on Sunday said he would 'preferably' want to be part of both the T20 World Cup and the Indian Premier League (IPL) later this year. In an Instagram story chat session, Rohit seemed to be in the mood to answer a few questions which have doing the rounds in the international cricket circles. "Let's have a chatty Sunday. Shoot me some questions, I'll answer through the day." Rohit said in his Instagram story post. The first question posed to him was 'which one would be preferred, the T20 World Cup or the IPL'. "Preferably both." Rohit answered. The 2020 ICC World T20 is slated to take place in Australia from October 18 to November 15. The International Cricket Council in its board meeting on Wednesday decided to adopt a wait and watch' approach by continuously monitoring how the COVID-19 situation on ground evolves, before deciding on the fate of the showpiece event. The BCCI has also expressed its keenness on looking at every possible opportunity to stage the the 13th edition of the IPL in the Sept-Oct window provided the ICC postpones the T20 World Cup from its slated schedule to next year. Asked to describe wicket-keeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni in one word, Rohit said: "Legend".
