Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in their IPL 2024 campaign opener on March 24 (Sunday). The same was confirmed after a partial schedule for IPL 2024 was announced by the organisers on Thursday (February 22). The fixtures for the first two weeks of the competition beginning on March 22 were confirmed with 21 matches set to be played in the first 14 days. The remaining schedule will be out once the dates for the Lok Sabha Elections are announced.
MI's first match this season will be an away fixture in what will be a fascinating contest with Hardik Pandya set to lead MI against his former franchise. MI will then play travel to Hyderabad for their second match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 27 before their first home match of the season at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 1 against Rajasthan Royals (RR). MI will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in a 03:30 pm (IST) start match in Mumbai on April 7, their final fixture in the initial schedule. The remaining of their matches all have a 07:30 pm (IST) start.

MI Squad For IPL 2024
The team will witness a leadership change with Hardik Pandya set to take over the reins of captaincy after a highly successful stint of Rohit Sharma. Rohit led the team to five titles in 10 years but was replaced as the captain ahead of the 2024 season.
