'IPL Is The Best League In The World': Simon Doull Puts IPL Ahead Of BBL, PSL
New Zealand commentator Simon Doull said this during commentary of the Punjab Kings vs Rajasthan Royals match.
IPL 2021: If at all there was a debate about which is the best league in the world, New Zealand's Simon Doull has put an end to it. While on commentary during the Punjab Kings vs Rajasthan Royal game, he said that the Indian Premier League is the best league in the world.
"IPL is next level," he said followed by praises for the kind of talent that has been coming out from the various IPL tournaments. "No other league in the world offers such a platform for youngsters. IPL does this every year."
"This is the grounding for some young Indian players. How many players have took to international cricket since the past years due to IPL, the number is big," said Doull while talking about the IPL during the dying moments of the Punjab Kings vs Rajasthan Royals match.

Previously, South African pacer Dale Steyn had said that IPL is just a money-making league, while Pakistan Super League is the best league that supports real talent. Well, anyone of the players or coaches are entitled to have an opinion of their own, about the IPL or the PSL or the BBL. But, only going by facts, IPL has paved way to a lot more youngsters than any other league. Not just Indians, but players like Shane Watson and Glenn Maxwell also got noticed after they performed well for their respective teams in the IPL.
IPL has managed to garner attention fron cricketers around the world. Many A-list cricketers want to be part of the IPL. Not just for the money, but also for the exposure that this tournament promises.
