'Worst Review In History': Hardik Pandya's Bizarre DRS Review In GT vs DC IPL 2023 Match Leaves Twitterati Stunned
Fans on Twitter were left miffed with Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya as it was quite certain, even from the naked eye, for anyone to conclude it was clear not-out.
David Warner-led Delhi Capitals, placed 10th in IPL 2023 Points Table, defeated defending champions Gujarat Titans at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday (May 2). Delhi batted first against Gujarat and were reduced to 22-5 in the powerplay. It looked like the fate of the match was sealed in the first innings itself with senior GT pacer Mohammed Shami taking four wickets to restrict Delhi Capitals to a paltry 130. Surprisingly, Shami's stunning four-wicket haul, Hardik's gritty fifty and Tewatia's fiery knock, including a hat-trick of sixes, went in vain as Khaleel Ahmed (2/24) and Ishant Sharma (2/23) bowled beautifully to power bottom-placed Delhi to a five-run win over table-toppers Gujarat Titans in a tense thriller.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Hardik Pandya got trolled on Twitter brutally for taking a DRS for a bizarre LBW call in the 20th over of DC's inning. Fans on Twitter were left miffed as it was quite certain, even from the naked eye, for anyone to conclude it was clear not-out.

After Gujarat's defeat against Delhi Capitals, Hardik Pandya blamed himself for the defeat and admitted it was his job to finish the game.
"I tried my best in the end but it was not to be. (On the discussion with Abhinav Manohar) We were hoping to get couple of big overs in the middle but we couldn’t get rhythm. It was new for Abhinav as well and it boils down on how I could not finish the game. Full marks to the bowlers and full ownership, I couldn’t finish it," Hardik said.
